NATHE bits - By riders for riders

We have been distributing the popular NATHE bits worldwide since 2020 and have thus expanded our extensive range to include high-quality thermoplastic bits. Like our SPRENGER bits, NATHE bits are the result of collaboration between research, development and top-class sport to guarantee harmonious communication with our sporting partner, the horse.

Advantages of NATHE bits

NATHE bits are made of thermoplastic, which is a smooth, mouth-friendly material that prevents the 'eraser effect' that often occurs with rubber bits. The plastic is food-safe, free from plasticizers and is characterized by its temperature neutrality and flexibility at low temperatures. The continuous stainless steel core of our NATHE bits also ensures safety and stability. The wide variety of mouthpieces and side pieces ensures that there is the right NATHE bit for every horse.

NATHE mullen mouth snaffle

NATHE mullen mouth snaffles are available in various degrees of hardness and with or without port. Most models also have a stainless steel core to protect against biting and thus offer more safety. Mullen mouth snaffles ensure an even distribution of pressure across the entire width of the tongue, while models with a port slightly relieve the middle of the tongue. Mullen mouth bits are rather unsuitable for dressage work, as one-sided rein action is hardly possible without the bit getting stuck.In order to develop position and bend, we generally recommend single or double jointed bits.

NATHE single and double jointed bits

The NATHE single and double jointed bits have been upgraded in 2024: we have replaced the old plastic joints with stainless steel and thus created a continuous metal connection, even in the jointed mouthpieces of the NATHE bits, for more protection against biting. In addition, the joints of the NATHE bits are rotated so that they lie anatomically correctly between the tongue and palatal arch, just like the KK ULTRA bits, for example, and prevent palatal pressure. The NATHE double jointed bit is also available with a centerpiece made of SENSOGAN. The copper alloy promotes acceptance of the bit and stimulates salivation.

NATHE weymouth bit

Would you like to switch to a double bridle? This is also no problem with NATHE bits. NATHE offers you high-quality weymouths in various designs: with small or large port and with short or long shanks. NATHE weymouth do not have a stainless steel core! The NATHE bit range also includes Pelhalms and jumping curbs for show jumpers.
