With a soft contact, the novocontact bits rest on the tongue with their wide contact surface and offer gentle communication. Double jointed bits from the SPRENGER novocontact series are available as loose ring snaffles, eggbut bits and pelham bits. The SPRENGER novocontact double jointed bradoon is also available with loose rings or as an eggbut bit. This bit shape is particularly suitable for horses that occasionally become strong and require a stronger action, but are too sensitive for bits with a generally stronger impact.

As with the double jointed version, the single jointed bits from the novocontact range are also available in different versions: as a normal snaffle bit or bradoon bit, as a loose ring snaffle or eggbut bit or as a Pelham for show jumpers. The novocontact single jointed bit is particularly suitable for horses that still find it difficult to get on the bit with confidence.
