Description
Description
Due to the modern novocontact geometry, this weymouth is especially recommended for horses that tend to pull up their tongue. In our practical tests, these horses also reacted positively to the bit.
The short shanks ensure a quick impact without building up strong pressure on the poll. A sensitive rider's hand is essential.
The horse's mouth tends to be somewhat narrower where the weymouth is fitted. We therefore recommend that you choose a weymouth 1⁄2 to 1 cm smaller than the bradoon. It is important that the sides of the weymouth are close to the corners of the mouth. If there is too much space between the corners of the mouth and the side piece, the weymouth can jam or tilt.
The curb chain should be fastened in such a way that an angle of about 30 to 45 degrees is possible between your horse's mouth and the lower shank.

How do I care for my Sensogan bits?
You should always wash your bits thoroughly with water and dry them after each use. SENSOGAN bits contain copper. Oxidation causes the bits to darken and may lose their shine. However, metal bits are particularly easy to clean and maintain with the help of our "Diamond Paste".Sensogan
Alloy of copper, manganese and zinc. Manganese hardens the copper without affecting the natural oxidation process of the copper. Thanks to the manganese, the alloy has a lower copper content but achieves the same oxidation behavior as AURIGAN.Features
