Advantages of NATHE bits
NATHE bits are made of thermoplastic, which is a smooth, mouth-friendly material that prevents the 'eraser effect' that often occurs with rubber bits . The plastic is food-safe, free from plasticizers and is characterized by its temperature neutrality and flexibility at low temperatures. The continuous stainless steel core in our NATHE bits also ensures safety and stability. The wide variety of mouthpieces and side pieces ensures that the right NATHE bit is available for every horse: In addition to the NATHE water snaffle or the NATHE olive head bit, there are also various special bits.
NATHE bar bits
NATHE bar bits are available in various degrees of hardness and with or without a tongue guard. Here too, most models have a stainless steel core to protect against biting and thus offer greater safety. With bar bits ensure an even distribution of pressure across the entire width of the tongue, while models with a free tongue slightly relieve the middle of the tongue. Bar bits are rather unsuitable for dressage work, as one-sided aids are hardly possible without tilting the bit. In order to work on position and bending, we generally recommend single or double jointed bits.
NATHE single and double jointed bits
The single and double jointed NATHE bits have been upgraded in 2024: we have replaced the old plastic joints with stainless steel and thus created a continuous metal connection, even in the broken mouthpieces of the NATHE bits , for more protection against biting. In addition, the joints of the NATHE bits are rotated, so that they lie like the KK ULTRA bits they lie anatomically correct between the tongue and palatal arch and prevent palatal pressure. The NATHE double jointed bit is also available with a centerpiece made of SENSOGAN. The copper alloy promotes acceptance of the bit and stimulates salivation.
NATHE curb bit
Would you like to switch to a curb bit? This is also no problem with NATHE bits. NATHE offers you high-quality curb bits in various designs: with small or large tongue clearance and with short or long tongues. NATHE curb bits do not have a stainless steel core! For show jumpers there are also Pelhams and jumping curbs in the NATHE bit range.
