What is special about KK ULTRA bits
The shape of the KK ULTRA bits is based on scientific research into the anatomy of the horse's mouth. Modern horse breeding produces horses with small mouths, which SPRENGER's bit production specifically addresses. The KK ULTRA is the first bit line ever to feature the intelligent rotation of the centerpiece. Due to the 45° forward inclination, the bit lies anatomically correct between tongue and palate.
With conventional double jointed bits the two articulated eyes can press uncomfortably towards the tongue and palate and are also level with the horse's lower jaw. This can cause considerable discomfort, especially in horses with thin tongues and pointed jaws. However, the special 45° inclination of the olive in the KK ULTRA bit allows the joint eyes to lie flat on the tongue without exerting pressure on the palate or tongue. In addition, the centerpiece has been shortened to prevent the articulated eyes from being placed directly over the lower jaw. This significantly improves the effect and acceptance of the bit compared to conventional double jointed bits. KK ULTRA water snaffles and olive head bits
All KKULTRA bits are double jointed bits. The KK ULTRA bits are available in many different bit strengths and widths to find the perfect bit for every pony and large horse.
