The novocontact bits from SPRENGER are characterized by an innovative oval shape , which enlarges the contact area between the bit and the horse's tongue, while maintaining a low bit thickness. This shape ensures a gentle yet precise action, especially when the rider gives finely tuned rein aids. With a soft contact the novocontact bits lie on the tongue with their wide contact surface and offer gentle communication. The bit only begins to rotate forwards when more pressure is applied via the reins, which reduces the contact surface and the aid is received more clearly.
Just like our KK ULTRA, Dynamic RS, and Pronamic bits, the novocontact models are also made from the SPRENGER alloy SENSOGAN alloy. This special copper alloy specifically promotes the horse's salivation and encourages chewing.
