Especially leg-sensitive horses are often referred to as "twitchy" in everyday life. We have developed the Comfort Roller series models for precisely these horses. The wheel is significantly wider, allowing you to use a particularly soft action - ideal for sensitive horses.

Balkenhol loop

The innovative design of the loop for the spur straps was not named after the well-known riding master Klaus Balkenhol for nothing. We have developed this special loop with his expertise. It is designed for everyday use with your horse - for a secure and comfortable fit. How does it work? The Balkenhol loop has a smaller strap eyelet and an outwardly flared center bar. This allows the spur strap to be guided past the inside of the boot. No pressure, no slipping - no problem!

Would you like to know the impact strength of your spurs? The following applies to wheel spurs: The thinner, more pointed and smaller the wheel, the more punctual - and therefore stronger - the impact. The more rounded, thicker and larger the wheel, the softer the effect of the spur.

Denn insbesondere, wenn sich zwischen Rädchen und Dorn Haare und Schmutz festsetzen, kann es passieren, dass das Rädchen hakt und sich nicht mehr frei drehen kann. Rädchensporen sollten darum regelmäßig gereinigt werden - im Interesse Deines Pferdes.

A question of size? But yes: If you are rather short and have shorter legs, the distance between your thigh and the horse's belly is usually smaller. In this case, we generally recommend slightly shorter spurs. However, if you are tall and have long legs, slightly longer spurs are usually more suitable. Then your thigh can lie quite still, although the distance to the horse's belly may be slightly greater.
