Description

The NATHE loose ring snaffle is back with an upgrade! We have replaced the plastic joints with stainless steel and tilted them forward by 45°. This prevents pressure on the palate and ensures even pressure distribution. The high-quality thermoplastic has a smooth surface, is food-safe and free from plasticizers and solvents. Thermoplastic is also temperature-neutral, which makes the bit comfortable for the horse even in cold temperatures.

How do I care for my thermoplastic dentures?

You should wash thermoplastic bits regularly and check their condition. Indentations caused by contact with the teeth, for example, can result in sharp edges on thermoplastic bits in particular, which can injure the horse.

Thermoplast is a high-quality bit material that supports the satisfaction and willingness to perform of sensitive and mouth-sensitive horses. In addition to excellent compatibility, it is food-safe and free from plasticizers and solvents. The thermoplastic bits are also hypoallergenic. The smooth surface means there is no eraser effect. Thermoplastic is temperature-resistant and dimensionally stable. The steel core in the standard bits (except for size 110mm) provides additional safety. The side parts are made of high-quality stainless steel. Made in Germany. No guarantee on bite and tooth marks.

Upgrade

for NATHE bits

Since February 2024, the single and double jointed NATHE bits have joints made of stainless steel in order to continue to meet our high quality standards. In addition, the joints have been tilted forward by 45° so that the bits are positioned anatomically correctly between the tongue and palatal arch. The pressure of the rein aid is thus transmitted evenly. When correctly buckled in, the arrow in the logo on the left-hand side points forwards.

Stainless steel core

The continuous metal connection of the bit shanks (Fig. left) makes the NATHE bits particularly high quality and distinguishes them from manufacturers who only screw the metal connectors into the plastic bit shanks with the aid of screws.
