Gentle all-rounder for every level of training

The term "water snaffle" has long been established in all stable lanes. It refers to a bit with continuous rings. Incidentally, this is a real all-rounder. When the reins are tightened, the pressure is transferred to the horse's lower jaw via the tongue. Water snaffles are basically suitable for every horse and every level of training, as the movable rings can also cushion a somewhat unsteady rider's hand to a certain extent. Do you need to correct past mistakes or apply more force in certain situations? The bits in the MAX Control series offer a very special solution. This is a double jointed bit. However, if a certain angle is reached - for example because the horse pulls against the reins and lifts out - it locks and becomes a bar. This allows you to exert more influence at this moment. However, if you ride with a loose connection and gentle action, the mouthpiece is comparable to a normal double jointed bit. Clever, isn't it?

Half a centimeter

for the perfect fit

Let's start in order: If you want to check whether your horse's bit is big enough, you should take a look at the corners of the mouth while the reins are not tightened. If the bit has continuous rings, the following applies if it is buckled correctly: There should be no more than half a centimeter of space between the corner of the mouth and the bit ring on the right and left. Also make sure that the ring can always move freely and does not pinch the corner of the mouth.
